Konrad
Medical Officer
a title

Konrad is a Trueborn Elemental with an unusual past. From an early age, he tested consistently in the top twenty percent of his Sibko. During his Blooding, he easily tested out as a warrior, as predicted. Konrad went on to serve with distinction for a year, battling enemies of the Rasalhague Dominion on several occasions and earning the notice of his Bloodhouse elders.

At the height of his warrior career, he shocked the entire Clan by requesting to leave active duty as a warrior and become a medic. This request was almost unheard of in the Clans, and the initial reaction of the Khan was a stern reprimand and a warning that pursuing this request would lead to Konrad being declared Dezgra. However, Konrad surprised the Clan Council again by pointing out that the Ghost Bears had a long tradition of allowing a warrior who had failed his testing to attempt a second career. Though he was a warrior, Konrad stated that he could better serve in a non-military role. As Kerensky himself had stressed the importance of using resources efficiently, this was the Clan fulfilling is vision.

After this persuasive argument, the council voted to allow Konrad to be be tested as a medic. Ironically, he was chose to uphold the decision int he following Trial of Refusal, demonstrating his skill as a warrior while defending the decision for him to leave the warroir caste. After an evaluation, Konrad was assigned to the Scientist Caste as a medic and trained as a doctor. He has served as a medical officer for the past seven years.

Arianna
Communicationsanother title

Arianna is a Trueborn who washed out of training as a mechwarrior and was assigned to the technician caste. She distiguished herself in a support role for her clan for her skill with communications technology and equipment. Assigned to dropship crew duties, she worked her way up to communications specialist aboard the Aletha's Legacy. Her skill was noted by Star Captain Cade when he selected the ship for the Growling Bears.

Cade had Arianna reassigned to run the Tactical Operations Room aboard the ship. She coordinates communications between the various Growling Bears forces and keeps Cade updated on battle progress.

Though it is not mentioned outside the unit, Cade also uses Arianna as a analyst, often asking her opinion on military and logistical operations. Technically, this is beyond the scope of her caste, but it has yielded impressive results thus far.

Outside of her work, Arianna is a sculptor. Away from the TOR she is snarky and sarcastic with her fellow technicians, though it is usually in good fun.

Farrell
Star Captain
Aletha's Legacy Captainanother title

Star Captain Farrell's sibko was one highlighted for warship crew. His early test scores placed him as a dropship pilot and he eventually worked his way up to an officer role. After several years as a pilot, he was promoted again and given command of a Broadsword class dropship, later working his way up to command of the Union-C Aletha's Legacy. He held this post for only a short time before his ship was selected as the transport for the Growling Bears.

Farrell is a serious, no-nonsense commander with a flair for unorthodox tactics, which Cade uses to its fullest extent. He does not hesitate to offer his thoughts and has a sarcastic streak which his crew is sometimes the victim of. Despite this, he is well respected, if not always loved, by those that serve with him.

Though he is now a dropship commander, he often takes the helm of his ship, still enjoying the feel of flying. It is this technical expertise that places him above some of his fellow officers and allows such unusual maneuvers as making straffing runs with his ship.
